The below is a letter from my friend Mallori Luna.  This fall she will be traveling to Italy for Missions.  Please read the below and consider supporting her.  THANKS!
My name is Mallori Luna.  I am a 20-year-old college student that recently graduated from Eastern Florida State College with my AA degree. Like many others, I was set to continue towards my bachelors at UCF in the fall.
However, I’ve found God’s plan for us can be much different and bigger than anything you’d think of yourself.

I have been given an amazing opportunity to go to work as an ESL (English as a second language) teacher from about the 24th of September to the first week of December with Verità Di Grazia Ministries (Truth of Grace Ministries) under the founders, Lee and Jeannette Walti, in Chiavari, Italy.  (Read more about Truth of Grace Ministries Here)

Some of you may remember Lee’s parents, Randal and Judi who used to attend what was SG Titusville for years. Also, Kevin O’Brian of SGT went as an ESL teacher to work with the Walti’s not too long ago as well and a wonderful, life-changing experience of touching Italians’ lives and sharing the gospel.
Of course, working as an ESL teacher sounds wonderful but it won’t be my primary job. Through our classes, activities this fall and through other interactions outside of the classroom setting, my main job will be to develop meaningful relationships with my students so as to get to know each other better. It is through these various avenues that I am excited to share the gospel and the fact that salvation and God’s love is a free gift, not something we must work for (something most Italian Catholics believe)!
Some might question the need to go to a place like Italy or wonder if it’s only a vacation spot. However, the situation on the ground is dire.

You may be shocked to hear that less than 1.1% of Italians are evangelical Christians in Italy and statistics show that out of 33,500 towns and villages in Italy, 31,000 have no evangelical church, bible study, or witness whatsoever. There is about 1 church for every 50,000 people (compared to America, where there is 1 church for every 5,000 people). Most major missions sending organizations now list Italy in the top 10 most unreached countries.

Clearly, the need for the good news of the gospel and God’s love is enormous. It is one thing to have heard of the gospel of grace; it’s another altogether to never have had the privilege or opportunity. This is why my heart is to accept this call of God to go and reach Italians for Christ.
All I would like to ask is if you would pray about the possibility of helping me go. To go, I really need your financial help. The trip costs $5,600 dollars total. This covers airfare, expenses of sharing an apartment, daily living expenses (personal and ministry needs), phone use (critical for relationships), ESL activities, local transportation, and more. I know life in Italy will be much different than living here, and since this will be my first time traveling overseas, any advice you have about living or traveling internationally would be a tremendous help. Prayer for my trip and your kind donations to help make this opportunity happen would also be so greatly appreciated.

Any donations you contribute can be both written and sent to Trinity Community Church (previously Sovereign Grace) at 6750 S. Washington Ave, suite #5, Titusville, FL 32780, with a note that it is for me, Mallori Luna.
I’d love to hear from you and welcome any questions or suggestions you have! You can contact me by email at malloriluna94@gmail.com or by phone at 321-289-0244.
Thank you so much and God bless you for considering my needs,

Mallori Luna
